Pontifical Catholic University of Peru
Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú is an educational institution founded in 1917 and is among the ten best universities in Latin America. It is recognized for the excellence of its flexible and interdisciplinary education and the impact of its research, creation and innovation, activities supported by an efficient and agile management, and at the service of sustainable human development in Peru, being a benchmark in higher education in the region.
Alumni and Graduates Association (AEG - PUCP)
The Association of Alumni and Graduates of the PUCP (AEG-PUCP) was established in 1989 with the purpose of bringing together the alumni of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Officially recognized in 2004, it promotes the active participation of its more than 21,400 associates in activities that strengthen ties with the university and contribute to national development.
The AEG also promotes the formation of communities of PUCP alumni living abroad, to foster unity among them and strengthen the ties they have with the University and the Association that is present wherever they are.
There are currently 14 communities formed in the areas of Europe, Asia and America. Each of them is in charge of a delegate, who is responsible for coordinating activities in his or her community, to promote the integration of the community and the exchange of experiences with a view to building an ever larger PUCP Alumni network.
